Nilgun TASCI is a gilding (tezhip) and miniature artist who specializes in traditional Turkish gilding art.She was born in Turkey in 1961.

Among the countries to which she has traveled are: Northern Cyprus and Saudi Arabia.

She first began working in oil painting in Calli workshop in 1998.Then she was introduced to traditional Turkish gilding arts in 2003.

She attended to professional gilding courses organized by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and miniature courses by Nurten UNVER. Then she took courses from Memnune BIRKAN and Nefise TEMEL.She deserved the Educator certificate given by Turkish Ministry of National Education.

Currently,she is working in advanced traditional Turkish gilding arts with Sahin INALOZ and Nihan GURAKAN in Zerefsan Nakishanesi.

She has opened her personal exhibitions and attended to cooperative exhibitions as well since 2006.
